Who should obtain this certification?
The CRCS™ was designed for insurance agents, financial planners, CFPs, fee-only advisors, CPAs/accountants/EAs, and estate planning attorneys.
The CRCS™ is for advisors who want to prove to clients that they can provide Roth IRA conversion recommendations using an analytical framework and be able to specifically explain and defend those recommendations.
Investing in yourself while providing unique benefits to clients!
Becoming a CRCS™ will make a statement to your current and future clients that you have the industry’s highest knowledge on one of the most difficult and misunderstood concepts. The byproduct of having the CRCS™ is that your clients will receive the industry’s best Roth conversion advice (advice that will save many of them tens if not hundreds of thousands of dollars in lost assets!)
After obtaining the CRCS™ designation, you will be able to:
- Analyze whether a Roth conversion is beneficial for your client’s retirement plan
- Evaluate Roth conversions across multiple years rather than in isolation
- Determine the financial benefit to a client’s heirs
- Incorporate IRMAA, Social Security timing, and Medicare planning into Roth decisions
- Model conversion outcomes using cash-flow-based analysis rather than rules of thumb
- Identify scenarios where Roth conversions are neutral or harmful
- Offer client-specific conversion advice that will be unmatched in accuracy in the industry
- Defend Roth conversion recommendations under regulatory scrutiny
The Wealth Preservation Institute
The CRCS™ is offered, administered, and overseen by The Wealth Preservation Institute (which also offers the Certified Asset Protection Planner™ (CAPP™) and Certified Medicaid Planner™ (CMP™) certifications).
